Italy Earthquake Victims Flock to Twitter

twitter-logoAn Earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter Scale rocked central Italy nearly 4 hours ago. People near the epicenter of the quake are using Twitter to dispatch updates to their friends, families, and coworkers as the traditional cell phone and land line communication networks northeast of Rome are becoming overloaded.
